Effective March 16, 2009 the review sections of the Health Professions Act came into force to provide the public and health professionals with a right to request an independent review of certain decisions of the colleges of the designated health professions in British Columbia.
On December 8, 2008
government announced the appointment
of the chair and 17 board members to the new Health Professions Review Board.
